Hotty Toddy and Happy 60th!

So... living in Georgia is wonderful, but I will jump at any chance to go home to Mississippi, even for a super short trip. So when I realized that Ole Miss would be playing Georgia this year in Oxford, it wasn't even an option. We drove to Oxford Friday night and stayed with my cousin Sarah and her new husband Paul.

Greg had never been to an Ole Miss game, much less the Grove (WHAT?? I had to fix this situation). So we put on our gear and headed to God's country to experience the best day of Greg's life.

The Grove was packed. The weather was perfect. Our tickets rocked. Ole Miss played very... well, never mind about how the game turned out, we've never lost a party. Beat that, Bulldogs.

We found some friends!

Sara Tyson, Samuel and Baby Husband
My brother Arthur (alias: ArtyPop) joined us
If you haven't noticed, Greg perfectly played the part of a life-long Rebel fan by sporting an original Ole Miss golf shirt. His hair even matches the color scheme. How convenient.

Also, he now has a beard. I can't decide what I think about it quite yet.

Aren't they adorable?
After we left the Grove, Greg and I drove to Jackson. My awesome grandparents, Mom and Pop, are having their 60th Wedding Anniversary in a couple of weeks and my family got together to surprise them with a celebration.

60 YEARS! Give these champs a hand!
We all met at my aunt and uncle's boathouse for lunch. My uncle grilled Pop's famous Ribs recipe and we hung out and enjoyed each other. It's been a while since we've all been together!

Although our trip was quick with lots of driving... it was such an encouraging and wonderful weekend! I miss my family so much and LOVED getting to see them!!!
