Change in Scenery (or Several)

So things are just crazy around here.

I've been getting used to working everyday (really enjoying it, by the way!) and Greg finished his RTS class. We've watched a lot of Big Bang Theory, made a lot of homemade pizzas, and I've managed to kill all of my herbs...again.

It's time for a break. So, we're taking two. Tomorrow, we're leaving to the mountains in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Gregor's fam. They are mountain people. We're staying in a cabin and are going to ride horses (can't WAIT!), hike and go tubing on the river. It will be spectacular. We're getting back next Tuesday.

The mountains probably won't be enough relaxation, though, so on Thursday, we're going to Destin with my family. They are beach people. Kicking it back on the beach with the fam...can't wait for that either! I've been craving the beach since the last time I went.

You know how vacations are meant to relax you from craziness? Well, we will return to it, more chaotic than before. We'll have to hit the ground running...because we're MOVING!!! The Meyer's will be the new residents of a cute little house about ten minutes away from our apartment. Not only is it a great place, but it's right next door to my dear friend Elizabeth. She took me in when I moved to Macon three years ago and I lived with her until G and I got married. Our dear friends Carlie and Anders live across the street. It's like moving home!

Carlie and Anders' wedding this past September
We're very excited about this new phase in our lives, but are a little nostalgic about leaving our first apartment :( I've been trying to take pictures around here before we pack everything up and will share them here soon!

So, that's our next three weeks...all exciting things! Now, to end the procrastination - I have to bake goodies for the weekend and then go pack!

Peace out Macon,
Mary Jane
